Aero Services Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Richard Allan as General Manager.
Richard joins the Credit Union at an important stage in its growth and development, bringing with him deep industry experience, proven leadership, and a strong focus on sustainable performance and member service. His appointment reflects the Board’s commitment to strengthening operational excellence, sound risk management, and long-term value for the membership.
About Richard Allan
Richard Allan is a highly experienced financial services professional with over 20 years’ experience in the industry, including more than a decade in senior management roles. His expertise spans credit risk management, strategic planning and execution, operational improvement, and sustainable finance.
Throughout his career, Richard has held leadership positions across the credit union, banking, retail, and telecommunications sectors. He is recognised for delivering measurable results, including driving loan and customer portfolio growth, strengthening delinquency management frameworks, and leading digital transformation and process optimization initiatives.
Richard holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Management from the University of London. He also holds several professional certifications in leadership and credit risk management.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Richard is actively involved in community development through charitable initiatives and people-focused programmes. He is committed to building strong teams, fostering accountability, and ensuring organisations remain both financially sound and member-centered.
